Cash, or bank transfer in some cases. Above ₹2 lakh, expect a transfer and PAN.
People ask “how much cash can I get for selling gold?” as if the shop were an ATM. The honest answer: we pay cash for ordinary lots, and we use bank transfer for larger amounts — including anything at or above ₹2 lakh — along with PAN or Form 60. That is also when a pledged release often ends in a transfer, because the lender has already taken their dues.
We do not advertise unlimited cash. We do not split a sale to dodge the line. If that is what you need, we are the wrong counter.
